As governments and corporates set increasingly ambitious commitments to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, there is rapid growth in demand for carbon credits to supplement their broader decarbonisation efforts. In this report, we set out to explain how global carbon markets work and the drivers and challenges to its progress.
