Ben Wilson

Managing Director

Ben is a principal of Gaia Natural Capital and has more than ten years’ professional experience, spanning investment banking, funds management and agribusiness.

Prior to Gaia, Ben worked at Lucerne Investment Partners and Canaccord Genuity, and is a co-founder of Copperhead Sandalwood.

Ben has managed a wide variety of equity capital markets and private and public M&A transactions, primarily in the agriculture, resources, and natural capital sectors.

At Gaia, Ben is responsible for corporate development and primary engagement with capital markets associated with the natural capital sector.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Economics

Nicholas Cayzer

Director

Nicholas is a Director at Gaia and has over seven years of experience in financial markets, specialising in corporate finance and principal investments. Nicholas has managed transactions in both public and private markets, primarily in the Natural Capital sector over the past three years.

At Gaia, Nicholas is responsible for creating research-based model portfolios of carbon credits that meet client requirements.

He also assists the team in originating carbon projects and capital market transactions through the firm’s relationships with carbon exchanges, brokers and project developers.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business.
