Brazilian Critical Minerals (ASX: BCM)

Gaia acted as Lead Manager to Brazilian Critical Minerals’ (BCM) heavily oversubscribed $4 million capital raise in June 2025, cornerstoning the capital raise and introducing a new base of high-conviction institutional and private investors.

BCM is an Australian-listed rare earths company advancing the Ema Rare Earths Project in Brazil — a large-scale ionic clay deposit hosting critical magnet elements (Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb). The project’s in-situ recovery (ISR) potential and low-cost leaching characteristics position it as one of the most promising rare earth developments outside China.

Gaia identified BCM as a special situation opportunity: a fundamentally strong but overlooked asset operating in an out-of-favour sector, with limited broker coverage and depressed valuation relative to peers. The company lacked institutional visibility despite a globally significant resource and a technically advanced development plan.

Gaia structured and executed the placement to attract long-term supportive shareholders, including specialist resources funds and family offices aligned with BCM’s growth trajectory. The successful transaction provided BCM with capital to advance feasibility work, build market confidence, and attract mainstream mid-tier broker coverage.

Since the raise, BCM’s share price has appreciated by over 5x (as at November 2025), reflecting the company’s improved market visibility, new sector tailwinds and growing recognition of Ema’s strategic value within the global rare earths supply chain.
