Gaia’s principal is a co-founder and Director of Copperhead Sandalwood, an integrated Indian sandalwood business established to acquire, process, and market sustainably grown Santalum album and sandalwood oil to global markets.
The company was founded in 2020 and in 2024 finalised a joint venture with one of Western-Australia’s prominent family offices, creating a well-capitalised platform with deep industry experience and access to growth capital. In 2026, the founding team of Copperhead finalised the establishment of a SPV with one of Australia’s largest retailing families and successfully consolidated the Indian sandalwood industry following the collapse of the Blackrock-owned Quintis Group.
The result is a platform that is capable of dominating global supply chains, delivering sustainable returns, and positioning Australian grown Indian sandalwood as the world’s most credible long-term source of Indian sandalwood (Santalum album).
